American Apple Cobbler


Ingredients.

Apple Filling.

  • 6 apples, thinly sliced.
  • ½ cup granulated sugar.
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon.
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour.
  • 3 tablespoons water.


Cobbler Topping.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour.
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar.
  • ½ cup melted butter or margarine


Instructions.

  1. Set the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C). Grease a medium-sized casserole dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine sliced apples, sugar, cinnamon flour, and water. Mix until apples are evenly coated.
  3. Put the apple mixture into a casserole dish. Don’t forget to level it.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, brown sugar, and melted butter. Stir well until crumbly. Sprinkle topping evenly over the apples.
